Are you a female and love football? Have you ever wanted to play football but the boys wouldn't let you? Well now you can! The Iowa Crush of the Independent Womens Football League are holding tryouts!

The Crush are currently looking to expand our team. We are looking for individuals interested in being part of a great organization with the desire to help the team continue to grow.
If you are interested in joining the team as a player, coach, or volunteer please visit the Join the Crush link and fill out the form. A member of the team will then contact you. The team is looking for volunteers to join the public relations team, the medical team, the fundraising and community service teams, 2011 game day operations team, and other areas. If you would like to help in some venue and don't know exactly where you would fit in, fill out a form or directly email theiowacrush@hotmail.com. If you are interested in joining the team as a sponsor, please contact Kenn at 515-289-6701. For those interested in playing, here are the tryout dates for this summer:
August 21 in Iowa City at City Park (200 E. Park Road) 11 am - 1 pm
August 28 in Ames at Oneal Park (300 S. Maple Ave.) 12 pm - 2 pm
September 18 in Des Moines at Stilwell Junior High School (1601 Vine St) 10 am - 12 pm
(If those dates do not work, email theiowacrush@hotmail.com to set up a time and date to tryout individually. We do not want anyone to lose out on this amazing opportunity to play football because their summer/ fall is busy!)
